I'm going to take Aikido, but I was wondering before I start, is it affective in real life situations, because I do know that it's based on weapon attacks, mostly from a sword.

Sorry it took me so long to respond.
Aikido is an exceptional martial art.
It uses a lot of the same principles as we do in Dragon Claw Kung Fu.
Ex: circular motion, redirection, evasion, using the opponent's momentum against them.

hi.i loved the self defence videos and i already learnt many of them but i was wondering the what should one do when someone tries to choke you and you are against the wall.then we may not be able to turn and do what you showed in the video. so please can you show me by posting a video in the downloads area. thank you very much.
